Main MPS (Mail and Package Services) Locations

The MPS offices located at the Support Building 2025 F St (Foggy Bottom) and West Hall (Mount Vernon) will remain open to provide mail and package services. In certain situations, package pickup may still be required at these locations.

You may need to visit a Support Building if:

• Your package is too large to fit in a residence hall locker.
• Your package requires refrigeration or freezing.
• You do not retrieve your package from the locker within the required timeframe, and it is returned to the main MPS office.
• Temporary operational adjustments are required at the beginning of the semester due to the increased volume of move-in package deliveries.

During peak move-in periods, additional instructions regarding package pickup at the Support Building may be communicated as needed.

Packages addressed to students living in Residence Halls will be delivered to secure lockers located either in your building or in a nearby residence hall if your hall does not have lobby lockers or sufficient locker availability.

To ensure your packages are delivered to the residence hall closest to you, you must include your residence hall name and room number in the shipping address. Packages that do not include this information will remain at Mail and Package Services (MPS) at 2025 F Street.

Once your mail or package has been securely placed in a locker, you will receive an automated email containing a retrieval code. Enter this code at the locker kiosk to open the assigned locker and collect your package.

Please retrieve your package within 24 hours of receiving the notification. Packages may remain in lockers for up to 4 days. After that period, they will be returned to the main MPS facility and made available for pickup during normal business hours. Packages held at the main facility will be stored for an additional 3 days. If not claimed within that timeframe, the package will be returned to the sender when possible or handled in accordance with University return policies.

Food delivery services, including Grubhub, Whole Foods, DoorDash, and similar providers, are not accepted at 2025 F Street. Please ensure these deliveries are sent directly to your residence hall.
