Fall Move-In

Welcome to campus! To help your move-in go as smoothly as possible, please review the following information regarding package pick-up, satellite locations, and operating hours.

Satellite Pick-Up Centers

Operating Dates & Hours: August 15 – August 24 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

District House: B114 (2121 H St NW)
South Hall: First Floor Study Room, next to the package lockers (2135 F St NW)

Mail & Package Services (MPS) Main Hours 2025F St

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekend Hours (Aug 15–16 & Aug 22–23): 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Guidelines for Package Pick-Up

Bring a Cart: Please bring a cart from your residence hall if needed carts are not available for loan at MPS or the Satellite Centers.
Shipping Window: Do not ship packages more than 3 days in advance of your arrival date on campus.
Wait for the Qtrak Email: Courier delivery notifications (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Amazon) only indicate arrival at GW not that it is ready for pick-up. Please allow processing time and wait until you receive an official Qtrak email notification.
Check Your Pick-Up Location: Read your Qtrak email carefully! Due to high volume, your items may be assigned to a specific satellite center or locker location.
Same-Day Pick-Up: Please pick up your items on the same day you receive your Qtrak notification to help free up storage space.
Tracking Numbers: To aid in the status of a package please have tracking numbers with you for reference.
